The Technical and Property Management Department is responsible for the municipality's technical maintenance. This includes construction, installation, and maintenance. With great heart, we take care of Kullahalvön – from the pulse of the city streets to green park oases, majestic buildings, laughter in playgrounds, and the feeling on the beaches. We are also the hub for internal services, from high-quality cooking to sparkling clean facilities.

The department consists of about 35 dedicated employees who work with operations and investments in infrastructure, outdoor environments, storage, and transportation. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As the department head, you will lead the intrapreneurship and internal service operations. Intrapreneurship carries out operational and investment assignments within water and sewage, streets, and parks, while internal service is responsible for the municipality's central storage and vehicle rental. You create structure, develop working methods, and ensure that our projects are carried out with quality, efficiency, and forward-thinking.

In this role, you have ultimate responsibility for the department's finances, budget, and results. You will drive and develop the department together with our three unit managers. You lead with humility, clarity, and commitment while contributing to the development of a sustainable and green Höganäs.

This position suits you who enjoy combining practical tasks, strategic work, and collaborations with colleagues, residents, and contractors. In this role, you are part of the management team, where you participate in strategic decisions, joint planning, and the development of the department's overall direction.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for a confident and experienced leader who, with drive, curiosity, and a solution-focused mindset, wants to help develop Höganäs. You have solid experience in operations and maintenance within streets, parks, water and sewage, and construction contracts, and you are passionate about leading people and strengthening operations.

With your experience in budget work and financial follow-up, you create security and clarity in decisions. You are also skilled at setting clear goals for the operations and continuously following them up, which drives development forward and ensures that the department meets its ambitions.

You communicate professionally and engagingly. Experience in public procurement is an advantage but not a requirement for the position.
